Good Shepherd offers many entertaining and stimulation activies for the residents.

The Activity Staff encourages residents to participate in group activities held in various areas throughout the facility. Participation is always optional. Residents who prefer to remain in their rooms are given other activities, such as books, magazines, crossword puzzels, etc.  There is a variety of choices for residents to select an activity from.

Annual events our residents look forward to are the Walking Tour of downtown Mason City landmarks, the Harvest Ball, Christmas at Good Shepherd, Easter programs including Lenten services and "Meeting at the Cross", and the Spring Fling. Each month a Center-wide birthday party is held for those residents whose birthday occurs in that month.
